What the advertised price leaves out
The membership fee is the one people miss
Several providers quote the medication price and charge a separate monthly fee for the care around it. Ro charges $149 a month on top of the medication. LifeMD charges $149. Mochi charges $79. A plan advertised at $199 can be $348 by the time it reaches your card, so every figure in this calculator already includes the fee where one is charged.
Cheaper per month usually means paid up front
Multi-month plans lower the monthly number by asking for the whole term in advance. Found’s twelve-month semaglutide plan works out at $169 a month — but that is $2,028 on day one. If you stop after three months, the prepaid plan has cost you more than the month-to-month one, and a meaningful number of people do stop early.
Introductory rates expire
A first-month discount is not the price you will pay. We never use an introductory rate as a headline figure, so the number here is what you pay on an ongoing basis once any promotion ends.
Some prices rise with your dose
A few providers charge by dose rather than a flat monthly rate, so the amount goes up as you titrate. Where that is the case, each dose appears as its own plan in the list above.
